Sondra made a movie. It is listed in imdb, which in itself is an accomplishment. I had hoped that within the humor, there would be a bit more insight into movie making. Unforunately, the only fact I learned about her movie is that she edited it for 5 years. Her idea that someday the people who upload shorts on youtube now, might upload sleepy features from kitchen movie studios, is interesting. But the same joke, don’t worry about your script because the audience will be sleepy, don’t send to film fests as the judges have to be awake, is overused and gets old here.
I would love to read something serious by Sondra. I would love to know more about how she made her movie. The humor in this piece, however, is just not to my taste.
